Sandalwood High School’s golf team has beaten some long odds before, so trying to contend in a loaded Class 3A boys state tournament that begins on Tuesday doesn’t overly concern coach Dave Hall. “Two years ago we didn’t know if Duval County schools were going to have golf at all,” Hall said. “They were prepared for it. But these guys are pretty good about going out and doing what needs done.
